It is a high-intensity program featuring exercises that last for four minutes. It was discovered by a Japanese Scientist Dr Izumi Tabata. Although it lasts for only 4 minutes it requires a lot of strength.

The Structure of the Program is as follows:

  • Hard Work Out for 20 minutes
  • Relaxation for 10 seconds
  • Complete 8 rounds of the workout

This way you can push hard as much as you can for 20 seconds at a high-intensity. Then you can rest for 10 seconds and go back to push-ups for 20 seconds. This concludes by eight steps of push-ups, rest for 10 seconds, and then going back to doing push-ups for 20 seconds. This way you can complete eight sets of pushups and rest for one minute.
